Welcome to Héritage
The Golf Club Auberge Héritage’s new administration welcomes you to our 2021 season!
History of the land
In 1989, 79-year-old Elijah Jones had a dream! He acquired land from several farmers in the municipality of Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix in order to develop a golf course. He would partner with Paul Simard who actively participated in the construction of the magnificent wooden clubhouse and the management of the land.
In 1992, their dream came true. They proceed to the official opening of the golf course.
Héritage, located at the foot of the majestic Laurentian mountains and developed without blasting, embraces the natural landscape, and offers remarkable elevation changes and spectacular panoramas. With 274 acres of land, guests can experience a unique round of golf on a 6,700-yard course, with generous walkways, extensive wooded areas, and large undulated and manicured greens! After a few difficult years, the Héritage administration changed hands. Héritage... a family revival and challenge!
As of April 2019, a new chapter has begun under the leadership of Denis Marcotte. Surrounded by family and a friend/business partner, he is committed to restoring the land to its original splendor. To date, all golfers unite to say that this has been a success... what do you think? The goal of Héritage is to offer a quality golf course to all golfers, both pros and beginners, and to develop the next generation of young golfers.
Just a few minutes from Montebello and less than an hour from Ottawa, Héritage Golf is one of the most beautiful courses in the Ottawa region.
